Lundy Canyon Trail, Lundy Canyon, Mono County, CA, 10/10/2010
Lundy Canyon is deservedly called the gem of California's Eastern Sierra. On a visit I hiked through beautiful green aspen forest. Looking east along Lundy Canyon Trail, backlit by mid-afternoon sunlight, the wood was aglow in vivid green! Being such a gorgeous afternoon and the middle of Columbus Day weekend, the trail was busy as I prepared my camera. The scene was so pretty, people walking by complimented me on my choice of subject.
