Joseph D. Grant County Park, Santa Clara County, CA, 5/6/2009
Although I had frequented Joseph D. Grant County Park, I had never ventured up this particular hill in the north end of the park until this beautiful spring day. The view from here into Halls Valley with the row of oak trees leading from the left to White Barn at center provided a strong composition. On this day the scene was made complete by my favorite kind of sky - sunny and deep blue with white puffy clouds! The 9,560 acre Joseph D. Grant County Park is located in Halls Valley, just east of San Jose, CA.
