Los Huecos Trail, Joseph D. Grant County Park, Santa Clara County, CA, 4/9/2014
Many times I've hiked along this trail through these trees wanting to come back and photograph this lovely spot just before sunset. On this beautiful spring afternoon I finally did it. The trees are blue oaks (Quercus douglasii), native to these California hills. We're looking west down the long and winding Los Huecos Trail toward Masters Hill in Joseph D. Grant County Park, east of San Jose.
