Lundy Lake Road, Lundy Canyon, Mono County, CA, 10/23/2009
Lundy Canyon has been deservedly referred to as the gem of the Eastern Sierra. I was very impressed by its beauty, tranquility, and colorful autumn display. On my first trip there I noticed this small waterfall on Mill Creek just a few yards off Lundy Lake Road in the Inyo National Forest and middle canyon area west of Lundy Lake. This is the view from atop a large boulder in the pool of water in front of the fall. After making this photograph, I lingered there awhile to enjoy the fresh cool air, beautiful surroundings, and the sound of the waterfall.
